SENTINEL-2 is a wide-swath, high-resolution, multi-spectral imaging mission, supporting Copernicus Land Monitoring studies, including the monitoring of vegetation, soil and water cover, as well as observation of inland waterways and coastal areas.
The SENTINEL-2 Multispectral Instrument (MSI) samples 13 spectral bands: four bands at 10 metres, six bands at 20 metres and three bands at 60 metres spatial resolution.
This plan has been developed using extensive consultation with many groups.
A guiding presentation on a series of regional dialogue seminars and field visits held in order to raise awareness, capacity and identify opportunities for effective policy coherence, implementation and mainstreaming of nature-based solutions at the national level.
In addition, production losses and higher production costs arising from the disaster across all sectors (referred to as losses) are estimated at SAT 229.4 million, or US$100.6 million. Thus the total effects of the disaster amount to SAT 465 million, or US$203.9 million.
The Framework takes into account the longer-term rehabilitation and reconstruction plans of the Government and local communities with an aim to capitalize on opportunities to reinvigorate existing policies and plans for disaster risk reduction and to rebuild communities better.
